UNION CITY — Mississinawa Valley outscored Dayton Jefferson 13-6 in one half of varsity football Thursday evening in the Blackhawks’ final scrimmage before the start of the regular season.Mississinawa Valley football coach Johnny Graher said he saw encouraging signs in the scrimmage.“All we want to do is actually improve every down and distance, every play, and just keep upbeat for the next play,” Graher said. “I liked the effort that they put forward and working hard.
