Greenville Police investigate armed robbery

GREENVILLE - The Greenville Police Department along with the Darke County Sheriff’s Office responded to Papa John’s Pizza, located at 1111 E. Main Street in Greenville, at approximately 8:45 p.m. Tuesday evening on a reported armed robbery.

Officers and deputies searched the area for a male suspect wearing a black ski mask who displayed a knife to an employee before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was not located and remains at large at this time. No injuries were reported.

The robbery is currently under investigation by the Greenville Police Department. More information regarding the incident including a suspect description will be available soon.
