Greenville woman injured in crash

DARKE COUNTY - A Greenville woman was airlifted with injuries after crashing her vehicle Monday morning.

Darke County deputies along with Greenville Township Fire responded to the crash scene just before 12 p.m. on Stingley Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Angel M. Cheadle 22, of Greenville, drove off the right side of the roadway then over-corrected, striking the guardrail on the right side of the road then her vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a large tree.

Cheadle was treated at the scene and transported to the CareFlight landing zone at the Darke County Sheriff’s Office by Greenville Township Rescue where she was then airlifted to the Miami Valley Hospital aboard CareFlight for her injuries. She was the sole occupant in the vehicle. Cheadle was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation with the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
