Greenville bowlers end season at districts

BEAVERCREEK — Greenville’s bowling teams ended their seasons at the district meet this past week at Beaver-Vu Bowl in Beavercreek.

Greenville boys bowler Trever Mann rolled a 605 in three games at the district tournament. The Green Wave senior finished in 50th place out of more than 100 bowlers at districts, which he qualified for the previous week at the sectional tournament.

The Lady Wave rolled a 3,101 in three regular games and six baker games to finish 24th out of 24 teams in their district tournament.

Greenville’s top performance came from senior Shelby Shumaker, who rolled a 619 in three games and finished just eight pins out of state-qualifying position.

Senior Natalie Blinn rolled a 447 for Greenville. Freshman Mackenzie Slade rolled a 285 in two games.

Junior Breanna Davis rolled a 150 in one game, and junior Megan Meeks rolled a 149 in one game.
