Woman still critical following accident in park

GREENVILLE - A Covington woman, Margaret A. Bundy, 59, is still in intensive care following a serious accident that occurred in the Greenville City Park.

On Saturday morning, Christopher Fry, 44, of Greenville was driving a 2003 Chevy Silverado on Park Drive, and was pulling a dirt-filled trailer to be used at a local baseball field. According to the Greenville Police Department, the trailer became completely disconnected from the back of the Silverado and hit Bundy’s 2013 Nissan Ultima car head on.

Due to her extensive injuries, Bundy was CareFlighted to Miami Valley Hospital. As of Tuesday afternoon, Bundy’s status was listed in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

The traffic accident is currently under investigation by the Greenville Police Department.
