GREENVILLE - Bradford resident Chester L. Black was sentenced Monday on 10 counts of felony sex charges with a minor female child.

The 10 counts of sexual battery, all felonies of the third degree, garnered Black a sentence consisting of a one-year prison sentence per each of the 10 counts, which will be served consecutively.

Black will also be required to undergo a post conviction release monitored by the Adult Parole Authority agency for a minimum of five years, and will be permanently registered as a Tier 3 sex offender, which carries a lifetime sentence.

A Grand Jury previously issued an indictment in November against Black of 12 counts of Sexual Battery, felonies of the third degree; and two counts of Rape, felonies of the first degree. According to the indictment, Black allegedly committed the sexual acts against a close family member between November 2010 and November 2013.
