FM’s Feitshans named Academic All-Ohio

PITSBURG — Franklin Monroe senior basketball player Travis Feitshans has been named an Academic All-Ohio player in Division IV by the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association.

Feitshans was one of eight boys basketball players in Division IV to achieve the honor, which recognizes players throughout the state for excellence on the court and in the classroom.

Academically Feitshans has a 3.94 GPA at Franklin Monroe while athletically he reached 1,000 career points in February. He averaged 15.1 points per game, 7.2 rebounds per game and 3.1 assists per game during his senior season for the Jets.

The academic all-Ohio honor is the latest of numerous awards Feitshans has collected this season. The Franklin Monroe senior was named third team all-Ohio by The Associated Press, first team all-district by the AP and first team all-Cross County Conference by the league among other honors.
