Greenville tennis loses to Milton-Union

GREENVILLE — The Greenville boys tennis team lost 4-1 to undefeated Milton-Union on Wednesday.

Javi Bixler was the lone winner for Greenville, beating Gooslin 6-3, 6-2 in third singles.

Greenville’s Voja Tatarevic lost 6-1, 6-3 to M. Brumbaugh at first singles. The Wave’s Evan Kiser fell 6-2, 6-0 to P. Brumbaugh in second singles.

The Green Wave’s Nathan Haviza and Adam Null lost 6-0, 6-1 in first doubles to Blevins and K. DIckison. Greenville’s Masen Rich and Noah Haupt lost 6-4, 6-1 to Fergerson and L. Dickison at second doubles.

Greenville fell to 4-3 with the loss while Milton-Union improved to 5-0.

The Greenville junior varsity tennis team defeated Milton Union 4-1.

Quintin Muhlenkamp and Sean Wolter won in singles, and Alex Lance/Tyler Davis and Justin McMiller/Austin Grote won their doubles matches. Darin Gusen and Josh Smith won an extra doubles match.
