A Night in Hollywood

GREENVILLE – On March 5, a Special Olympics fundraising event will be held at Greenville High School to spotlight the Special Olympians as the stars they are with a black tie themed dinner and show.

“A Night in Hollywood” will showcase the Special Olympics participants by opening their artistic abilities to the public through a talent show and an art auction and is hosted by the team members from the Supply Chain Management Program at Greenville CTC. Guests will be provided Hollywood themed refreshments and entertainment throughout the duration of the evening.

This event will offer a variety of opportunities for the attendees to give back to Special Olympics fund throughout the evening. A Night In Hollywood in its inaugural debut last year raised over $7,000 with business donations, ticket sales, fun family games, Silent Art Auction and door prize raffles.

“Since this will be the second year for this unique fundraising event made specifically for the Darke County Special Olympics, we are aiming to top last year’s total by raising $10,000,” said the Supply Chain Management team. “We are looking to get our community connected to the Special Olympics in a way that they have never experience before by putting on A Night in Hollywood.”

“Usually, the Special Olympic participants are limited to athletic events. However, the Special Olympians are extremely talented in many different ways! So, we would like to give them the opportunity to show off their own unique talents to our community through artwork, talent and enthusiasm. Our goal is to have all eyes on our Darke County Special Olympics participants so they may feel like the stars they are.”

Presale tickets for A Night in Hollywood will be available soon. A table may be purchased for $100. Financial donations in the form of checks can be made payable to Supply Chain Management and mailed to 100 Greenwave Way, Greenville OH 45331.

“The Supply Chain Management team is excited to partner again with many outstanding Business Associates to create an evening to remember for all involved!”
