Montessori still accepting toddlers, preschoolers

GREENVILLE — As the end of another school year quickly approaches, the DeColores Montessori School is still accepting students for 2016-17. Families with toddlers (ages 1-2) and/or preschoolers (ages 3-5), are encouraged to call and inquire about our programs and set-up a tour and visit. We are happy to show you around our school and what makes DeColores such a special place.

“Children entering the classrooms for the first time are in ‘wonderment’ as they look around at the beautifully prepared, developmentally appropriate environment created just for them,” said a spokesperson. “Multi-aged groups and hands-on learning produce the framework of a Montessori classroom. Students are engaged with their classmates and their nurturing teachers, who are Montessori trained student advocates. We truly care about our students and their educational development. These classrooms are not to be missed by any family in our five-county radius.”

The 2016-17 school year will be yet another unforgettable year.

“We are already planning for next fall and are excited about the many possibilities that will unfold,” the spokesperson added. “Won’t you consider taking this journey with us? Come check us out and see what opportunities lie ahead for your students and families. We look forward to speaking with you.”

DeColores Montessori is a chartered, non-public school for grades K-9 and a certified Ohio Department of Education Pre-School and Day Care provider. The goals are for students to be open-minded and compassionate; to gain a sense of themselves and others; and to understand and appreciate the diversity of the human spirit.

“We are affiliated with The American Montessori Society, and licensed by The State Board of Education and The Ohio Department of Education,” the spokesperson said.
