GREENVILLE — Area residents now have a new option for quick and convenient medical services.

Access MD Urgent Care has opened its newest location in Greenville, at 1403 Wagner Avenue, in Northtown Plaza, near Tractor Supply Company. The building was previously occupied by the Bob Evans Restaurant before its relocation across the street.

The locally owned, Dayton, Ohio, company has three other locations, offering two urgent cares in Dayton and one in Springboro.

Dayton Outpatient Center also operates other medical facilities in the region, including an outpatient surgery center, MRI/CT scanners, and extensive physical therapy, pharmacy, cosmetic and aesthetic businesses. The company operates six pain clinics in the Miami Valley, including ones in Dayton, Dayton Mall, Huber Heights, Troy, Springfield and Good Samaritan North locations.

The Greenville clinic will provide walk-in services seven days a week — Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. — offering solutions for everyday illness and advanced needs.

Access does evaluation of colds, flu, stitches to fractures. The clinic is also able to provide advanced services such as X-rays, labs, Occupational Health work-care needs such as physicals, Department of Transportation (DOT) and non-DOT drug screens, workman’s compensation, acute care management, flu shots and is now offering sports physicals for a limited time at the discounted price of $8.

“Access MD plays an important role in the community’s health care by providing needed services in a convenient and timely manner,” said Liz Smith, Director of Marketing and Creative Director for Dayton Outpatient Center, of which AccessMD is an affiliate company for the owner and lead physician, Suresh Gupta, M.D.

“We also take things a step further by working to coordinate care with other area health care providers such as primary care physicians, specialists, pain-management with multiple locations and over 30 years of experience, and area hospitals to ensure Greenville patients receive the most appropriate follow-up care when needed,” said Smith. “We are looking to build lasting relationships with the people of Greenville and the local healthcare community.”

Access MD will hold a community celebration and open house at its Greenville Center June 17. The event, open to the public, will include tours of the facility and an opportunity to meet the Access MD staff and management.
