Health Department offers HPV and Flu shots

DARKE COUNTY – For all current seventh graders, this is your remainder to finish your HPV series!

The Darke County Health Department is holding a special clinic on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 3 – 6 p.m., so that all who started this series at the April drive-thru can conveniently finish!

This final dose of HPV is free, provided through the Ohio Dept of Health and the VFC program. Anyone who received the first dose of HPV in April, and has not yet received the second dose, are also welcome to attend this clinic.

“Our goal of 100 percent completion of the HPV by this special group of teens would be phenomenal, but it requires your participation!” said health department officials.

The Health Department still has quadrivalent flu vaccine available for ages 6 months and up. Come to our regular clinic every Tuesday, 8-10:30 a.m. and from 2-5 p.m. Flu shots are also available on a walk-in basis every day, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Most insurance can be billed. Please call 937-548-4196 if you have any questions.
