16 county youth join Light Foundation’s 6th annual youth wild turkey hunt

DARKE COUNTY — Former New England Patriot Matt Light returned to his native county to kick off The Light Foundation’s sixth annual youth wild turkey hunt with 16 Darke County youth on Friday night.Light, the founder of the non-profit Light Foundation and a lifelong hunter, once again led the annual hunt on Saturday and Sunday that allows 16 Darke County boys and girls to hunt wild turkeys with skilled guides. The youth also spent the weekend at The Light Foundation’s Darke County facility, Chenoweth Trails, as they built camaraderie and discussed issues that affect today’s youth.
