Faber honored as a "Watchdog of the Treasury"

COLUMBUS – Recognizing his commitment to low taxes, fiscal restraint and smaller government, State Senator Keith Faber (R–Celina) was recently named the “Watchdog of the Treasury” by the United Conservatives of Ohio. Having been granted this honor based on his fiscally responsible voting record during the 129th General Assembly, this award marks Senator Faber’s fifth General Assembly as a Watchdog of the Treasury.
 
In addition to being honored as a fiscally responsible legislator, Senator Faber has also recently been recognized by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce for his 100% pro-business voting record.
 
“As your State Senator, I feel a deep obligation to ensure that the state acts as a good steward of the people’s tax dollars,” said Faber. “In difficult economic times like these, it is all the more necessary to practice fiscal restraint in the Statehouse so that individuals and businesses can be more prosperous.”
