Tigers stay on winning track

VERSAILLES
— The Versailles football team used its running game and defense to defeat New Bremen 42-8 Friday night.
Under a steady stream of rain, Versailles (5-2, 4-1 Midwest Athletic Conference) relied on its running game, which kept the game close early. But as the night wore on, Versailles started to break things open.
"With the conditions it was hard to get everything going so we had to stick with the running game, just to not put ourselves in bad potions so it took a little while to get on the board," Versailles coach Adam Miller said.
