I am amazed to hear that there are people who work in our government offices who do not like farmers. They consider themselves to be more knowledgeable and more important. Records do not confirm our government has better success than our American farmer, for getting the job done.

My amazing husband is a farmer. He works seven days a week, some 16-18 hours a day. He is only one of millions of farmers coast to coast who provide these ungrateful, farmer haters with food. Haters, can you raise a steak, milk a cow, produce an egg or grow a loaf of bread? For your information we cannot live on our mother’s breast milk forever. If you’re eating, a farmer did that for you.

Next time you’re thinking you’re better than “our American farmer,” open your Bible. Isaiah 28:29: “The Lord of Hosts is a wonderful teacher, and gives the farmer wisdom.” It does not say the people who work for our government have the most wisdom of all, and I see why!
