I really do not understand why people believe that central planning is better than what we now have. Since the Ohio Constitution was established our elected representatives have drawn boundaries for districts. Now, that a political party does not like the results they want people to be paid full time at taxpayers expense. Pay Attention or pay the price. Two Questions.
How much are they going to be paid? Let say $100 thousand, after all this will be a highly responsible position. If you have 12 people, without benefits, that is 1.2 million dollars that will come out of the state budget. Lets us say that with full benefits; medical, dental and retirement, plus travel and allowances it would amount to 4 million dollars plus a year.
Now, let us say that the average family receiving state help to meet their family needs is $25 thousand a year. The state could support 160,000 families with this money. With a limited state budget cut have to be made with the passage of Issue 2. Where will this money come from? Medicare, Welfare, transportation, schools or the other programs starving for money to support the citizens of this state? Folks, at what price do we need Issue 2?
When we go to the polls to vote you will make a choice. Is politics more important than the constitution. Take Care and God Bless You.
