2 injured in Sunday crash

DARKE COUNTY
- Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries from a crash just west of Greenville Sunday afternoon.
Emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on State Route 571 at the intersection of Daly Road.
Darke County Sheriff Deputies told The
Daily Advocate
the crash occurred when a blue Ford Taurus ran in to the back of a red Dodge Ram truck that was stopped on State Route 571, preparing to turn south on Daly Road.
Both vehicle sustained heavy damage. The driver of the Ford and a passenger from the Dodge were transported to Wayne HealthCare with injuries. The driver of the truck refused treatment at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
