GREENVILLE
– Although the Wave football team brought their best offense of the season, Piqua snagged the win off a last minute touchdown pass to inch away 38-33 in a tough conference match up.
With two and a half minutes left in the game, Clay Guilozet threw a 55-yard bomb to Zach Comer for a touchdown, which pulled the Wave ahead of the Indians 32-33 after trailing most of the game.
But on their next possession, Piqua's Ryan Hughes snagged a screen pass and ran 55-yards for the final touchdown of the game.
With less than two minutes on the clock, Greenville couldn't recover and lost 38-33.
