Because of his diverse experience, Jeff Welbaum is the best choice to serve on our Second District Court of Appeals in Dayton. That court is extremely important, because it hears all appeals of cases from six counties: Darke, Miami, Champaign, Clark, Greene and Montgomery.

Jeff Welbaum has worked as an attorney in private practice, as a public defender, as the Miami County Prosecuting Attorney for 10 years, as Judge of the Miami County Common Pleas Court for 16 years (hearing more than 8,500 cases in that time), and most recently as the Chief of the Criminal Justice Section for the Ohio Attorney General.
