Roaders derailed by Flyers

— The Bradford football team's historic season came to an end
in the regional quarterfinals of the playoffs Friday night as the
Railroaders lost 53-27 to the defending state champion Marion Local Flyers.
Marion Local jumped out to a 6-0 lead on its first drive of the game, but
later in the first quarter Bradford tied the game on a 57-yard touchdown run.
That was as close as Bradford would get as Marion Local took a 41-6 lead
into halftime.
With Marion Local's junior varsity playing most of the second half, the
Railroaders scored 21 points as the game ended with a 53-27 final score.
