VERSAILLES – Eleven Versailles High School football players were awarded special honors in the Midwest Athletic Conference this week.

Nick Francis and Jacob Heitkamp were named to the MAC 2012 All League First Offensive Team, while Damian Richard and Chad Winner were named to the MAC 2012 All League Second Offensive Team.

Jacob Heitkamp and Mike Rutschilling were named to the MAC 2012 All League First Defensive Team, while Jacob Barga was named to the MAC 2012 All League Second Defensive Team.

Versailles’ Dominic Richard, Chad Winner, Nick Campbell, Evan Phlipot, Joel Dapore and Jacob Wenning were also awarded with Special Mentions.

Coldwater’s Chip Otten was named the Coach of the Year.

Coldwater’s Austin Bruns was named the Offensive Player of the Year while his teammate Zach Dickman was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
