Racers came to Darke County from all over the country this weekend to compete in the Dirt Late Model Racing Association’s first annual championship at the Versailles BMI Super Speedway.
VERSAILLES – This weekend the Dirt Late Model Racing Association held its first annual championship at the Versailles BMI Super Speedway.
“For the longest time, people thought if it was racing it had to be Eldora,” BMI Indoor Speedway General Manager Dan Redmond said. “But people are finding out. This is a phenomenal place for karting and RC cars.”
Racers arrived in Darke County on Friday to practice on the local indoor track, then raced in heats and for the championship throughout Saturday and Sunday.
