GREENVILLE - Police detectives are investigating another armed robbery of a local business in Greenville.

The Greenville Police Department, Darke County Sheriff's Office and a K-9 Unit responded to the Fairgrounds Drive-Thru, located at 1207 Sweitzer St. in Greenville, on a reported robbery that occurred approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday night.

According to the clerk's statement, a tall, thin male subject entered the carry-out on foot. He is described as 6'-0" and 6'-3" tall, wearing a black hoodie that zips up into a mask, with a white design on the front (described by the clerk as a "spider") and wearing blue jeans. The suspect ordered the clerk, at gunpoint, to put cash into a blag plastic bag. Just like the two incidents prior, the suspect tied up the clerk. He then fled the scene, northbound on foot.

The amount of cash is not known at this time. No injuries were reported.

This is the third reported robbery of a small business in less than three weeks in Greenville. It is unconfirmed if any of the three robberies are linked or were committed by the same suspect(s). A $1,000 cash reward remains available for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the subjects responsible for the Oct. 25 robbery at The Flower Patch in Greenville.

If you have any information about these robberies or the suspects responsible, contact Detective Jason Marion of the Greenville Police Department at 937-548-4150, select option no. 2. You can also submit a tip to the Darke County Crime Stoppers tipline anytime at 937-547-1661 or online at http://darkecountycrimestoppers.com/submitatip.htm.
