TROY — Five Darke County volleyball players rounded out their seasons in the District 9 all-star match on Wednesday at Troy High School.

Arcanum’s Brooke Allen played on the Division I-II-II Blue Team, Mississinawa Valley’s Hope Neargarder and Maddie Murphy played on the Division Red IV team, and Tri-Village’s Sara Bowman and Shaye Thomas played on the Division IV Blue Team.

Not only did the teams consist of local all-stars, but each player was a senior, too, making Wednesday a final volleyball sendoff for the girls.
