GREENVILLE
- Emergency personnel responded to the scene of a four vehicle crash Saturday in Greenville.
Preliminary investigation revealed a white Ford Windstar and a Honda motorcycle were stopped at a southbound traffic light on North Broadway at the intersection of Russ Road. A dark blue Plymouth mini van was slowing, preparing to stop at the same light when a gold Chevrolet mini van slammed into the back of the Plymouth, causing the vehicle to hit the motorcycle and the Ford.
The driver of the motorcycle and Plymouth were both injured and transported to Wayne HealthCare. The driver of the Ford was unharmed, while the driver of the Chevrolet refused treatment at the scene.
According to the Greenville Police Department, the driver of the Chevrolet stated she fell asleep behind the wheel.
The crash remains under investigation.
