Alcohol a factor in crash near Bradford

BRADFORD - An Arcanum man was injured in a crash near Bradford Saturday at approximately 1:37 a.m.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Jeep Liberty, driven by Bobby Copeland, 42, Arcanum, was eastbound on U.S. 36 when his vehicle went off the left side of the road, on the 9100 block, and overturned on an embankment.

Copeland was treated at the scene by Bradford Rescue and was transported to Wayne HealthCare, where his condition is unknown. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
