NEW MADISON — Tri-Village sent a loud message to the Cross County Conference at the Bill Burkett girls basketball tournament this weekend: Move out of our way!

The Patriots dominated their first season games against Arcanum and Franklin Monroe to win the championship title and head confidently into the regular season.

The tournament began on Friday, when the FM Lady Jets took down Arcanum in an early defensive push, winning 60-37.
