DARKE COUNTY – The Board of Directors of the Darke County Agricultural Society met on Wednesday night to discuss contract changes, policy modifications and updates to their ticket sales.

In August 2011, a stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair killing four people and causing Ohio to adopt stricter rules and regulations regarding staging. In response, the fair board has decided to continue renting compliant staging, instead of risking non-compliances with their existing staging equipment.

Therefore, the 2013 concert ticket sales will increase to reflect the updated costs. The grandstand and bleacher tickets will rise from $25 to $27 dollars, while the track tickets will increase from $25 to $30 dollars.
