GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave earned their biggest win of the season after knocking out undefeated Fort Recovery 41-36 on Saturday.

“The defense played well. We missed a lot of bunnies starting out, but the kids are starting to believe in playing well,” Greenville girls basketball coach Kyle Vanover said.

The Fort Recovery Indians were 4-0 going into Saturday and already had taken down tough teams such as St. Mary’s and Marion Local.

But the Wave topped off their second consecutive win despite falling behind earlier in the match-up.

“The kids are playing hard. We got down a little bit, but Tara Guillozet hit a big shot to get us going,” Vanover said.

Megan Galloway led the Wave in points with 18, followed by Tara Guillozet with 14 and Jessica Kerg and Erin Albright tying with four points each.
