GREENVILLE – The Greenville girls basketball team matched its win total from last year just eight games into the season as the Lady Wave beat Northmont 64-60 in a Greater Western Ohio Conference crossover game.

Greenville improved to 3-5 with Wednesday’s win against the GWOC Central foe, matching the three wins it had last year when it went 3-18.

In order to prepare for Wednesday’s game and the rest of the season, the Lady Wave focused on offense in their past few practices. The emphasis on offense worked as Greenville recorded a season high in points.
