NEW MADISON — More than 200 local lifters competed in Tri-Village’s third annual powerlifting meet on Saturday morning in New Madison.

Four Darke County schools were in attendance including Tri-Village, Arcanum, Bradford and Mississinawa Valley, as well as several other schools from outside the county. Lifters competed in the bench press and deadlift at the meet.

Northeastern High School won the meet boys meet with a score of 6790. Kenton Ridge earned second place, while Bradford took third. Tri-Village came in sixth place, and Arcanum came in seventh place.
