DARKE COUNTY – Brian L. Gabriel of Greenville was sentenced on Monday to a term of one year in prison after pleading guilty to one act of burglary, a third degree felony, and one act of theft, a fifth degree felony.
Gabriel plead guilty on January 28, 2013 to burglary and plead guilty on November 19, 2012 to the theft charge.
Upon completion of the one-year prison term, Gabriel could serve on post-release control of up to three years.
Gabriel was also ordered to pay $1,400 in restitution, perform 40 hours of community service, and pay all court costs.
Gabriel was represented by Greenville attorney Randall E. Breaden. Prosecuting Attorney R. Kelly Ormsby III handled the cases for the State of Ohio.
