VERSAILLES – With two weeks to go in the season, the Versailles Lady Tigers were 11-0 and were set to face the Lady Wildcats of Minster on Saturday.

“I stressed all week to the girls to not overlook this week before the final match with Coldwater. Minster’s team can sneak up us if we are not focused on the task at hand,” Versailles girls bowling coach Tyler Phlipot said.

Versailles won the first game 851-719. The second game was a little closer with Versailles winning 737-705.

The Tigers kept it rolling in the baker games as well. The games were 200-162, 180-165, 156-160, 169-142 and 148-188. Versailles ended up winning the match 2,441 to 2,241.

Leading scorers for the Tigers were Megan Monnin with a 204 and freshman Hannah Niekamp with scores of 182 and 175.

The West Ohio High School Bowling Conference title will be decided Saturday at 20th Century Lanes in Lima when the undefeated Versailles Tigers go up against the undefeated Coldwater Cavaliers.
