VERSAILLES – The Versailles wrestling team will be the fourth seed in Division III at the state tournament and take on Upper Sandusky in its state quarterfinal matchup.
Fourth-seeded Versailles will take on fifth-seeded Upper Sandusky at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Arena on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus. The Tigers won their regional championship Wednesday night to advance to the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s inaugural team wrestling state championships.
The winner of the match between Versailles and Upper Sandusky will advance to face either top-seeded Delta or eighth-seeded LaGrange Keystone at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The state championship will be contested at 8 p.m. Saturday.
