By Press Release
COLUMBUS
- In the past several weeks a number of media outlets throughout House District 84 have referred to Representative Jim Buchy (R-Greenville) as State Representative from the 77th House District. He represented House District 77 until December 31st of 2012. We are aware of at least one internet website that claims he represents the 77th House District; our team is currently working to correct that website.
The new House District 84 encompasses all of Mercer county and portions of Auglaize, Darke and Shelby counties. He was elected to serve in this district in the election of November 2012 and was sworn in as the State Representative for District 84 in January 2013.
Thank you for updating your files appropriately. Given the changes in Ohio House Districts, our team understands any miscommunication. In the future you can access correct biography and committee information at the newly designed Ohio House of Representatives website: http://www.ohiohouse.gov/jim-buchy
Please do not hesitate to contact the office of Representative Buchy at (614) 466-6344 if you ever have any questions or need comment for a story. If you are up against deadline or need more immediate assistance please contact Justin Barnhart on his cell (419) 231-1111.
Also, please see attached the official head shot of Representative Buchy. This will be the official picture of Representative Buchy for the 130th General Assembly.
Thank you for your attention to this notice, and all you do to communicate the news to the good people of western Ohio. Your work is truly important and appreciated.
