GREENVILLE — Greenville seniors Megan Galloway and Tara Guillozet were named first team all-Greater Western Ohio Conference North Division and Greenville senior Jessica Kerg was named second team all-GWOC North by the league.
Galloway, a senior post player who is committed to play college basketball for the University of Detroit Mercy, was first in the GWOC North with 4.0 steals per game, second in the GWOC North with 17.4 points per game and third in the division with 8.9 rebounds per game this season. She also averaged 1.5 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. She shot 64.4 percent from the free throw line and a GWOC North-best 53.3 percent from the field.
Guillozet, a senior guard, was sixth in the GWOC North with 9.2 points per game. She also averaged 1.3 rebounds per game, 0.7 assists per game and 0.6 steals per game. She shot 66.7 percent from the free throw line, 47.1 percent from the 3-point line and was fourth best in the GWOC North by shooting 46.3 percent from the field.
Kerg, a senior guard, averaged 2.3 points per game, 1.4 steals per game, 0.5 assists per game and 0.5 rebounds per game. She shot 35.3 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from the free throw line and 25.0 percent from beyond the 3-point line.
Troy’s Nathan Kopp was named the GWOC North girls basketball coach of the year, and Sidney’s Konner Harris and Troy’s Kristen Wood shared the division’s player of the year honors.
