Bradford boys win powerlifting meet

BRADFORD — The Bradford boys powerlifting team won its home meet Saturday while the Bradford girls finished as the runner up.

The Bradford boys won the meet with 11,655 pounds lifted in the squat, bench and deadlift. Bellefontaine finished second with 10,800 pounds lifted, Kenton Ridge placed third with 10,405, Riverside placed fourth with 10,400, Springfield placed fifth with 10,150, Springfield Shawnee placed sixth with 9,140, and Tri-Village placed seventh with 6,820.

Springfield Shawnee won the girls meet by lifting 4,855. Bradford was the runner up with 4,815 pounds lifted, Riverside placed third with 3, 815, Kenton Ridge placed fourth with 3,795, and Tri-Village placed fourth with 1,630.

Shawnee’s Jay Caudill won the boys ninth-10 grade 125-pound weight class by lifting 700 pounds. Bradford’s Bryson Canan finished second with 665 pounds lifted, Bradford’s Mark Barga finished fourth with 555 pounds, Tri-Village’s Zach Clark finished fifth with 525 pounds, Bradford’s Dillon Reck was sixth with 505 pounds, Tri-Village’s Damian Edwards was eighth with 415 pounds, Tri-Village’s Aaron Stewart was ninth with 400 pounds, Bradford’s Clayton Layman was 13th with 370 pounds, Tri-Village’s Tanner Jones was 14th with 370 pounds, Bradford’s Chase Gambill was 15th with 360 pounds, and Tri-Village’s Jacob Frech was 17th with 160 pounds.

Kenton Ridge’s Parker Haley won the boys 11th-12th grade weight class by lifting 765 pounds.

Kenton Ridge’s Payton Lee won the boys ninth-10th grade 135-pound weight class by lifting 780 pounds. Bradford’s Daryen Booker was fourth with 675 pounds lifted, Tri-Village’s David McMahon was fifth with 660 pounds lifted, Bradford’s Mason Justice was eighth with 570 pounds lifted, and Tri-Village’s Kirk Bradley was 12th with 200 pounds lifted.

Riverside’s Mike Schaffer won the boys 11th-12th grade 135-pound weight class by lifting 890 pounds.

Shawnee’s Tyler Bane won the boys ninth-10th grade 145-pound weight class by lifting 955 pounds. Bradford’s Dillon Cassel was fourth with 660 pounds, Bradford’s Brandon Mitchell was fifth with 575 pounds, Tri-Village’s Wyatt Sleppy was seventh with 565 pounds, and Bradford’s Jarrod Ross was 10th with 385 pounds.

Springfield’s Justus Banks won the boys 11th-12 grade 145-pound weight class by lifting 830 pounds.

Bradford’s Justin Parke won the boys ninth-10th grade 155-pound weight class by lifting 1,095 pounds. Bradford’s Nick Hoover was eighth with 715 pounds lifted, Tri-Village’s Trever Mote was 15th with 420 pounds lifted, and Tri-Village’s Dagan White as 16th with 330 pounds lifted.

Riverside’s Kyle Plank won the boys 11th-12th grade 155-pound class by lifting 1,100 pounds. Mississinawa Valley’s John Reiman finished third with 795 pounds lifted.

Kenton Ridge’s Derek Desentz won the boys ninth-10th grade 165-pound weight class by lifting 925 pounds. Bradford’s Justin Colbert was third with 755 pounds lifted, and Bradford’s Wade Gerlach was fifth with 510 pounds lifted.

Bradford’s Nathan Voisard won the boys 11th-12 grade 165-pound weight class by lifting 1,230 pounds.

Kenton Ridge’s Jared Isham won the boys ninth-10th grade 175-pound weight class by lifting 795 pounds.

Riverside’s Chris Cox won the boys 11th-12 grade 175-pound weight class by lifting 1,030 pounds. Bradford’s TJ Pullins was second with 1,005 pounds.

Springfield’s Mark Houk won the boys ninth-10th 185-pound weight class by lifting 995 pounds. Tri-Village’s Ethan Foster was third with 810 pounds lifted.

Bradford’s Aaron Yohey won the boys 11th-12th grade 185-pound weight class by lifting 1,190 pounds. Arcanum’s Jeff Coyle was third with 1,050 pounds lifted.

Shawnee’s Nathan McCrite won the boys ninth-10th grade 195-pound weight class by lifting 1,070 pounds. Tri-Village’s Logan Dust was third with 775 pounds, and Bradford’s Zach Kissinger was seventh with 685 pounds.

Riverside’s John Tully won the boys 11th-12th grade 195-pound weight class by lifting 1,165 pounds. Arcanum’s Parker Buhrman was second with 1,140 pounds, and Bradford’s Kevin Poole was sixth with 585 pounds.

Bellefontaine’s Chase Miller won the boys ninth-10th grade 210-pound weight class by lifting 1,115 pounds. Bradford’s Bryant Apple was fourth with 785 pounds.

Bradford’s Robbie Loy won the boys 11th-12th grade 210-pound weight class by lifting 1,065 pounds.

West Liberty-Salem’s Dylan Leopard won the boys ninth-10th grade 225-pound weight class by lifting 1,115 pounds. Tri-Village’s Tanner Mote finished third with 505 pounds.

West Liberty-Salem’s Matthew Ulmer won the boys 11th-12th grade 225-pound weight class by lifting 1,320 pounds.

Bradford’s Bailey Powell won the boys ninth-10th grade 225-pound weight class by lifting 1,060 pounds. Bradford’s Frankie Setters finished second with 955 pounds, Tri-Village’s Seth Earles was fourth with 870 pounds, Tri-Village’s Dillon Flatter was eighth with 540 pounds, and Bradford’s Tim Williams was 10th with 445 pounds.

West Liberty-Salem’s Keith Turner won the boys ninth-10th grade unlimited weight class by lifting 965 pounds.

Bradford’s Steven Gayhart won the boys 11th-12th grade unlimited weight class by lifting 1,245 pounds. Bradford’s David Withrow was fourth with 800 pounds.

Riverside’s Allie Dickenson won the girls ninth-10th grade 115-pound weight class by lifting 500 pounds. Bradford’s Krystal Smith was third with 405 pounds, Tri-Village’s Katherine Banis was fifth with 335 pounds, and Bradford’s Caitlin Powell was sixth with 280 pounds.

Riverside’s Ashtyn Defibaugh won the girls 11th-12th grade 115-pound weight class by lifting 495 pounds.

Kenton Ridge’s Josie Day won the girls ninth-10th grade 125-pound weight class by lifting 595 pounds. Bradford’s Cheyenne Parke finished second with 535 pounds, Bradford’s Jennifer Whalen finished fourth with 405 pounds, Tri-Village’s Savannah Tate was sixth with 375 pounds, and Bradford’s Jane Bloom was eighth with 280 pounds.

Shawnee’s Cassie Rowland won the girls 11th-12th grade 125-pound weight class by lifting 510 pounds. Bradford’s Blake Brewer was second with 365 pounds.

Shawnee’s Jessica Henz won the girls ninth-10th grade 135-pound weight class by lifting 570 pounds.

Bradford’s Kylee Floyd won the girls 11th-12th grade 135-pound weight class by lifting 580 pounds. Bradford’s Shonda Elliott was third with 495 pounds, and Bradford’s Jayde Mead was sixth with 475 pounds.

Shawnee’s Peyton Rohrer won the girls ninth-10th grade 145-pound weight class by lifting 615 pounds. Bradford’s Maria Vernon was third with 485 pounds, Tri-Village’s Courtney Banis was sixth with 385 pounds, and Bradford’s Cailin Litten was seventh with 310 pounds.

Bradford’s Molli Lavey won the girls 11th-12th grade 145-pound weight class by lifting 675 pounds.

Shawnee’s Lacey Ruff won the girls ninth-10th grade 155-pound weight class by lifting 515 pounds.

Bradford’s Kymmy Carder won the girls 11th-12th grade 155-pound weight class by lifting 250 pounds.

Kenton Ridge’s Marissa Remnetter won the girls ninth-10th grade 175-pound weight class by lifting 645 pounds. Bradford’s Courtney Addington was third with 475 pounds.

Shawnee’s Stacey Wheeler won the girls 11th-12th grade 175-pound weight class by lifting 495 pounds.

Bradford’s Rebecka Lavey won the girls ninth-10th grade 195-pound weight class by lifting 605 pounds. Bradford’s Natasha Lee was second with 595 pounds, and Bradford’s Morgan Carder was fourth with 420 pounds.

Bradford’s Krissy Parke won the girls 11th-12th grade 185-pound weight class by lifting 520 pounds.

Shawnee’s Zion Aikens won the girls ninth-10th grade unlimited weight class by lifting 775 pounds. Bradford’s Rachel Lavey was second with 665 pounds, and Bradford’s Selena Setters was third with 425 pounds.

Bradford’s Sierra Puthoff won the girls 11th-12th grade unlimited weight class by lifting 640 pounds. Tri-Village’s Ashley Banis was third with 600 pounds.
