VERSAILLES — Versailles’ Jacki Stonebraker was named the Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball co-coach of the year, highlighting the honors received by the Lady Tigers.
Stonebraker and New Knoxville’s Tim Hegemier shared the coach of the year honors. Both coaches led their teams to a share of the MAC championship with 8-1 league records.
Versailles junior Katie Heckman and Versailles sophomore Christa Puthoff both were named first team all-MAC by the league. Heckman averaged 10.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season, and Puthoff averaged 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
Versailles junior Amanda Winner was named second team all-conference.
Versailles junior Brooke Pothast was named to the league’s honorable mention team.
New Knoxville junior Haley Horstman was named the MAC girls basketball player of the year.
