DARKE COUNTY - A Versailles teen was airlifted to an area hospital after running a stop sign early Tuesday morning.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2006 Ford Mustang, driven by Samantha Dilsaver, 16, of Versailles, was traveling north on Conover Road and failed to stop at Burns Road. The Mustang was struck by an east bound 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Austin Luthman, 18, of Versailles.
Dilsaver was removed from the vehicle and airlifted by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital where she was treated and released.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
