DARKE COUNTY – Local churches and ministries are paying close attention to “The Bible,” which is the History Channel’s new five-part, 10-hour miniseries based on the sacred text.
“I think the accuracy of the show was good for everyone to see. I was wondering if they’d do it accurately or not, and they did,” Beamsville Christian Church Pastor Steve Short said. “I think people were really impressed with it, and I was, too.”
The show, which began on Sunday and broadcasts over the next four weeks at 8 p.m., navigates through the Bible’s most significant chapters, including Noah’s journey in the ark, the Exodus and the life of Jesus.
