Greenville Officer Jesse Osswald uses Spillman Technologies law enforcement software, which allows for integrated, real-time data and field reporting for the police department.

DARKE COUNTY — Local Darke County law enforcement, fire and emergency response agencies are in the process of integrating to a new dispatch and reporting database system.

“This whole system is designed to make the road officer more efficient,” said Greenville Police Department Lieutenant Steve Strick.

The software, designed by Spillman Technologies, Inc., is designed to improve productivity and allow for the sharing of data across most county response agencies, setting the stage for a large cooperative effort.

“I think for the tax payers and the citizens that we serve, the important thing about Spillman is that we’re now able to provide an efficient service from the beginning of the emergency call right to the very end with the various agencies that are reporting,” said Darke County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Mark Whittaker.

Local law enforcement and emergency response teams can then view that information through computers and respond accordingly.
