While downtown Greenville was busy with Annie Oakley activity Thursday afternoon, this horse-drawn carriage led the funeral procession, carrying the flag-draped casket of William Reece Bowen, to his eternal resting place in Greenville Union Cemetery from Oliver Floyd Funeral Home. The Bowen family requested the service, which the funeral home provides within a two-mile distance. The Greenville Honor Guard also conducted military honors at the gravesite for the 71-year-old Greenville man.
