DARKE COUNTY — A 23-year-old Greenville woman was recently arraigned on theft of prescription drugs without consent in the Darke County Court of Common Pleas.


Angel M. Cheadle was indicted by the Darke County Grand Jury June 26 on two counts of fifth degree felonies for trafficking buprenorphine and dihydrocodeinone, both schedule III controlled substances, with intent to sell on March 21 of this year.


Judge Jonathan Hein entered her plea of not guilty and appointed David Rohrer as her attorney.


While Cheadle was released on her own recognizance she is currently being held at the Darke County Jail. She must meet with her attorney every 10 days, pay a $25 court fee, report to adult probation, attend and comply with substance abuse, mental health treatments, not consume alcohol/illegal substances and submit to a random urinalysis.


She must also not violate any federal, state or local laws and ordinances.


Her next court date is set for Aug. 22 at 11:30 a.m.
