Accidents

-Charles B. Coursey, 62, of Greenville, was cited for failure to yield from a private drive and transported for possible injuries following a two-vehicle collision Jan. 16 at 10:10 a.m.

According to the crash report, Coursey was turning left from a private drive in the 600 block of Wagner Avenue and drove into the path of Mei Qing Zheng, 41, of Greenville, who was southbound.

Coursey was transported by Greenville Rescue to Wayne Emergency Room for possible injuries.

The Coursey vehicle had disabling damage, and the Zheng vehicle had minor damage.

-A City of Greenville vehicle sideswiped a parked car Jan. 16 at 6:15 p.m.

According to the report, Mitchell L. Raffell, 34, of Greenville, was driving the Ford Explorer south on Markwith Avenue when he attempted to park and sideswiped a parked car owned by Harold B. Eichelberger.

Damage was minor to both vehicles, and no citation was noted on the report.

-Dorothy J. Lingle, 63, of Greenville, was cited for improper backing after striking a parked car on Bucoba Street Jan. 17 at 6:49 p.m. Both vehicles had minor damage.
