-3:40 p.m.: trespassing. Cecil Elliott Jr. was reported trespassing and making threats with two other men. Police were to issue a citation for aggravated menacing.
Aug. 14
-11:17 p.m.: theft. Several items of jewelry were reported stolen over a period of about a month from a jewelry box at a residence in the 100 block of St. Clair Street.
Aug. 17
-4:56 p.m.: counterfeit money. Counterfeit money was found passed to Walmart over the past several weeks.
Aug. 18
-11:16 a.m.: burglary. Police responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress at a residence in the 1070 block of Donald Drive. Damage was found to the door. A credit was later reported stolen from that residence with multiple fraudulent charges made. Security tape of a possible subject was located.
-5:38 p.m.: trash dumping. A trash notice was issued to a resident in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.
-6:45 p.m.: warrant. Miles Daviswas arrested on an active warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear on a traffic offense, with a $5,000 bond. He was transported to the county line and relinquished to Huber Heights Police.
-7:09 p.m.: warrant. Michael Ginger was arrested on an active warrant with an original charge of helmet required for a novice with a $275. He was transported to Darke County Jail, where he was incarcerated.
-10:35 p.m.: vandalism. A residential walkway in the 1050 block of Donald Drive was spray painted.
Aug. 19
-11:43 trash dumping. A trash dumping notice was posted at a residence in the 200 block of Harrison Avenue.
Aug. 20
-8:49 a.m.: trash dumping. A trash notice was issued at a property in the 500 block of Washington Avenue.
-8:50 a.m.: trash dumping. A trash notice was issued at a property in the 600 block of Central Avenue.
Accident
-Albert J. Pontius, 87, of Greenville, was cited for an assured clear distance violation after striking a parked car Sunday, Aug. 16, at 10:45 p.m.
According to the police report, Pontius was traveling north in the 200 block of Sweitzer Street when he collided with a parked car. Damage to both vehicles was minor.
