GREENVILLE — Zach Henninger won the car that was given away at the After-Prom at Greenville High School.

Steve VanGorder, owner of SVG Chevrolet and donor of the car, was present and participated in the After-Prom for the entire evening and personally drew the winning ticket.

After Prom was sponsored by the Greenville High School Senior Class of 2016. It was held at the high school from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m. The purpose was to give the students somewhere safe to go and something fun to do after the Prom was over.

Greenville High School S.A.D.D. Club provided free pizza and snacks for After-Prom. S.A.D.D. club adviser is Lori Keller.

Planners of After-Prom were senior class officers, President Ripley Lewis, Vice President Bhavneep Kaur, Secretary Emily Fulton, Treasurer Haley Baker, Reporter Olivia Herron, and Senior Class Adviser Kathy Quinn.

Any Greenville High School junior or senior still in attendance at the After-Prom at 2 a.m., the very end of the event, was eligible to win the car. Their ticket to After-Prom was their entry for all of the door prizes given away at After-Prom.

If a junior or senior won one of the other door prizes that evening, their ticket went back into the drawing for the car, as long as they were still in attendance at the end of the event.

Prom was sponsored by the Greenville High School Junior Class of 2017 and held at Romer’s in Greenville the same evening.
