Sen Beagle honors Tipp City pageant winner and anti-bullying advocate

COLUMBUS — State Senator Bill Beagle (R-Tipp City), on Tuesday, presented a resolution to Emma Moore, of Tipp City, for recently being named the 2015 Pure American National Junior Miss.

Moore, 11, has been competing in pageants since 2012 and hopes to use her role as a platform for raising awareness for anti-bullying efforts.

“Even at such a young age, Emma has demonstrated a passion for servant leadership by championing anti-bullying initiatives,” said Beagle. “We are proud of the example she is setting for Ohio’s young people and anticipate further achievement from her in the future.”

According to Tiara Magazine, which featured Moore in a publication earlier this year, she is also the 2015 Regional Star Jewel Sapphire Queen. Other notable pageant achievements include National American Miss Pageant Jr. Pre Teen, Pure American Junior Miss Ohio State, StarJewel Patriotic Queen, National StarJewel Mini Supreme Little Miss and Pure American Ohio Junior Ultimate.

Moore was also recognized in the House of Representatives, where she received praises from State Representative Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City).
