GREENVILLE - South Middle School, part of the Greenville City School District, held a fundraiser in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising a total of $200 in four days, said Jenn Schatz, who organized the fundraiser.

Students were able to wear a hat for a day by donating a dollar, and teachers were able to donate $2 on three days to wear pink and jeans in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Students then voted based on homeroom teachers who would get to “kiss the pig,” which ended up being a pug named Harley, who belongs to South School’s secretary, Cathy Warvel.
