Vectren driver causes crash

DARKE COUNTY - A woman was hospitalized after hitting a van that pulled in front of her vehicle Tuesday afternoon near Wayne Lakes.


According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office a male driver of a Vectren company Chevrolet van pulled out onto State Route 121 from a stop sign in the westbound lane of Hollansburg Arcanum Road. A southbound female drive of a Chevrolet Cavalier struck the van causing heavy front end damage to the car.


The woman was transported to Wayne HealthCare with minor injuries. The driver of the van was cited for Failure to Yield.
